Secret Stories: Paintings Between Light and Surface
About the Exhibition
Barbara Möllers' exhibition showcases five years of abstract paintings inspired by encounters with the sea, Asia, the expansive meadows of her native Lower Rhine region, her new home in Mastholte, and the people she meets. Through lines and surfaces, Möllers creates 'secret stories' that unfold uniquely in each viewer's perception. Her layered compositions explore how moods emerge, colors interact, and images transform over time. Using ink, watercolor, chalk, charcoal, oil and acrylic paints, she balances order and vitality, offering respite from our visually oversaturated world.
